Can you believe it is November 2nd??  October literally flew by and I am having a hard time accepting the fact that Christmas will be here SOON!  Ahhh, I cant even think about that right now!  Sadly, we did not make it out to the pumpkin patch this year.  BUT, we are going camping so we may pick up a couple of pumpkins and carve them during our camping trip…..better late than never right?!?

Last week Carter had his field trip to Morefield Mines and he has such a great time!!  Nevermind the rain…this kid loves digging and dirt so of course it was a fantastic time haha!  Unfortunately, I have been feeling under the weather for the past week or so and being outside in the cold, rainy weather was not so good for me.  I finally made myself go to the doctor on Friday.  I dont go to the doctor unless it is bad, so for me to go was out of the norm.  I am glad that I did because I am still not feeling well at all, but I am pushing through and hoping that these antibiotics will begin the healing process.

On a lighter note, this past weekend was a blast!  We had our annual Glascoween party which was a success.  Lots of old friends, a few new faces and I think everyone had a great time.  I loved seeing all of the creative costumes and socializing with adults(that is rare for me haha)

Kaleigh decided that she wanted to go trick-or-treating with a friend this year and despite how sad I was that she wasnt with us, I also understand that she is growing up and this is part of the process.  She had fun and that is all that matters.  We went out with with my family for a little bit and then headed back to their house to hang out.  Yesterday was a day full of fall mini sessions, I am so excited to show these, but am going to wait until after the holidays so as not to spoil family Christmas cards and gifts from my clients! 🙂
