Good morning!  Is anyone else in shock that next week is HALLOWEEN!??!?  This month has just flown by so fast!  My kids still do not have costumes…and neither do Jay and I for the record!  We are totally slacking this year!  I think the biggest factor is that I have dropped the ball.  The last couple of months have been so crazy.  And I am dealing with some guilt for being gone every single weekend.  Poor Carter is feeling neglected…he expressed to me this past weekend that we havent been spending a lot of time together and he misses me.  I admit, September-November are always rough, but I have to remember that it is temporary.  This too shall pass and soon I will have a break and my weekends back!

Anyway!  I wanted to share a little bit about our weekend!  Kaleigh’s first school dance was this past Friday!  It was a costume dance so she had one of her friends over after school so they could get ready together.  We also decided the Wednesday before the dance that it would be fun to do a little Halloween party/sleepover after the dance.  We had six girls total who came(only one that spent the night) and they had a blast!  We did a few Halloween games, a dance party, smores, and they spent a large amount of time giggling(typical girls!).  I think they had a great time!  Saturday, Carter had a soccer game.  He is doing so well this year!  He took a couple of seasons off but he is back and stronger and faster!  He also isnt afraid of going after the ball and he seems to really enjoy himself on the field.  Saturday afternoon I got to spend a little time at sweet Julia’s 2nd birthday party before heading to Charlottesville for Matt and Kristen’s engagement session!  Those photos are coming soon!  Sunday, I spent the day shooting the “G” family at U of R and then I headed to Farmville for my cousin Madison’s sorority shoot!  I did this last year for the first time and they enjoyed the photos so much, they invited me back again this year!  It wasnt quite as cold as last year and I always have a great time with these girls!

-finish decorating for Halloween

-catch up on laundry and cleaning…ugh!  This seems impossible right now! :/–Nope….still not done……

-Kaleigh’s FIRST middle school dance on Friday!  Ahhhh!

-girl scout outing for the fall/Halloween

-spirit night and possible football game on Wednesday

-celebrate Julia’s 2nd birthday!

-visit the pumpkin patch on Sunday!–Im not sure if we are going to be able to do this…I dont have a single free weekend 🙁

-continue editing sessions/weddings and blog when ready!

-cooperate shoot on Thursday

-Avery’s 1 year photo shoot!–rescheduled for this Thursday!

-engagement session on Saturday

-family session and sorority shoot on Sunday

-secure second shoot for October 24th wedding!

-record expenses and mileage

Personal:

-laundry….it might happen!

-find a day to visit the pumpkin patch….may be pulling the kids out of school early!

-Carter’s Halloween party after school on Friday(I have to be fair, so he can have a party too!) 🙂

-possibly trunk-or-treat at the Y on Friday evening

Business Goals:

-Family shoots on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

-shoot Ian and Liz’s wedding on Saturday

-mini sessions on Sunday

-continue editing shoots/weddings

-blog shoots/weddings

-record expenses/mileage

-follow up emails and return emails(I am behind!)
