The “B” Family | Mechanicsville, VA Family Photographer

Eight years……EIGHT!!  That is how long I have been photographing this sweet family!  It is so crazy to even think that!  I have seen their family grow in so many ways and am so, so thankful to be a part in documenting their memories.  I went to their new home in Mechanicsville(whoop whoop!)….they literally live less than 10 minutes away from us now and was so happy to see all of our past photo sessions lining the hallway of their home.  Kasey had these awesome table runners made with their photos on them which inspired me to do the same(I have yet to do it, but its on my to-do list).  Anyway, our session was a blast as always!  I think I laughed the whole time….especially when the chickens came into play haha!  I asked Kasey to share some fun things about her family and I love that she asked the kids…their responses are so great!

Katey Grace says, “We love to do things together.  We like board games, traveling, playing with our animals, going out to eat, talking about our day, and playing outside.”

Ashton says, “We really love each other and we like to poot.”-classy Ashton 😉

Addy says, “We love animals, watching movies together, and going to eat.”

I say, “We are a hot mess- but in a great way!  We live out loud.  We are moving most of time and usually laughing as we do it.  We have two dogs and 7 chickens, who are all like family.  We love to eat, travel and have friends over.  Being these kids parents is never dull.  It’s beautiful and exhausting, humbling and infuriating, our biggest challenge and greatest blessing.  We wouldn’t trade it for anything!”  🙂

Paul says, “We love sharing new adventures together and exploring this world!  There are no better travel companions.”
