Matt and Kristen Engaged | Fair Hill Farm | Standardsville, VA Engagement Photographer

I had such a great time with Matt and Kristen during our engagement session a couple of Saturdays ago!  I enjoyed getting to know them and I got to meet their sweet puppy.  Kristen and Matt both love traveling and exploring the world together.  They have been everywhere from Miami and NYC to Atlanta and Megan’s Bay in Saint Thomas where we got engaged.  Megan’s Bay remains one of their favorite places and they are excited to return there for their honeymoon!

Kristen says, “We started dating towards the very end of high school, just in time to head off to different colleges. People are always impressed that we still love each other even after attending rival schools. Although Matt would say it isn’t really a rivalry since UVA hasn’t beaten Tech in a football game since we’ve been dating. Even though we were constantly on the road making the trip between UVA and Tech, we were able to pass the time watching the mountains pass by in the windows. Since our relationship really grew and developed during our time in the mountains, we couldn’t have imagined a better, more meaningful place to have our engagement session than surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.”  I think their was location choice at Fairhill Farm was the perfect spot for them!  Overlooking the mountains that day was just beautiful.  It was a bit windy in the beginning of our session, but as the sun set and the wind died down, we were able to capture some really beautiful pictures!  Below are some favorites from our session!
