I have really been enjoying this weather lately and am so thrilled that spring is finally here.  I love looking at  all the trees and flowers in bloom and more importantly, playing outside with my kids.  Each season brings with it change.  It is during these transitions from one season to the next that I like to reflect on the past and make changes toward the future.  One of the major changes I would like to make is to spend less time in front of the computer and more quality time with my family.  With wedding season coming in full force, it will be challenging.  However, I am determined to make it happen!  This post is short and sweet for that reason.  What changes would you like to make in this season?

Happy Monday everyone PIN IMAGE

I met Grace and Adrien the day after their wedding at the beautiful Clover Forest Plantation(where they were married) for their day after session!  Grace and Adrien opted for a “day after” session in lieu of a bridal session and we had SUCH a fun time together!  I love them because they are just the sweetest, most content, go-with-the flow couple!  I had fun just BEING with them and talking about life!

Grace and Adrien, I hope you enjoy your photos for many years to come!  I have enjoyed working with you all this past year and getting to know you.  You two have such an amazing love for one another and I was so honored to be the one to capture these special times for you all.  I wish you all the best, congrats to you both!!  PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGELOVE! Susan Pearsall - Ashley, these are beautiful! Of course I’m totally biased given the subject matter:) However, it is your extraordinary gift that knows how to capture the beauty. The one on the fence with the barn in the background should be in a bridal magazine! You have been patient, kind, and delightful from start to finish. Here’s to your continued success!ReplyCancel

Top o’ the mornin’ to ya!  🙂  Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!  Oh, how I love holidays……I love doing crafts with my kids and for this holiday its all about the GREEN AND GOLD!  Painting, gluing, creating….I love it all!  One of my favorite traditions is setting up a leprechaun trap each year….the kids always get a kick out of it.  And somehow that ole’ leprechaun manages to escape and steal the gold, leave the kids’ rooms in disarray, and leave green stuff in the toilet lol!  Another “must-do” is hunting for a four leaf clover.  My dad must be the luckiest guy on earth because he always manages to find TONS!  And who can forget the green eggs, green milk, and everything else GREEN!  This year, I found a few other inspirational ideas that I pinned on my board on pinterest!  If you are looking for something fun, check out my board….there is something for everyone!  What are some things that you like to do for St. Patty’s Day?

Below are a few photos in honor of the holiday! 🙂
Hope everyone has a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day and a great weekend!  Watch out for those leprechauns! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE

I was SO excited to see Amy and Cooper for our one year session!  I hadn’t seen Cooper since his 6 month session and boy did he CHANGE!  Not only does he have a head full of beautiful brown hair, but he is the happiest, most smiley baby boy!  I had so much fun photographing him….all smiles and lots of laughs.

I have had the privilege of watching Cooper grow from a tiny baby boy and being able to document that first year is indescribable.  I love getting to know my clients and watching their families grow, so it was an honor to be able to do this for this sweet family.

Amy, I just want to thank you for choosing me to be your family photographer during this first year with Cooper.  I have loved getting to know you and watching Cooper grow!  I enjoyed each and every session and I look forward to documenting future family milestones!  I hope you enjoy the photos from our last session! 🙂

I met Beth and her sweet family when I did their family portrait session back in November of 2010.  We hit it off right away, being that Beth is such a sweet down to earth person.  I fell in love her little boy Dylan(who is the same age as Carter).  Dylan has the most amazing accent just like his Momma and I love listening to both of them talk….if you know Beth, you know what I’m talking about!!!  Over the past year I have had the pleasure of working along with Beth and she has been gracious enough to have me second shoot with her on several occasions.  We have had some great times together while working at weddings, traveling, play dates, and watching our boys grow.  It has been such a blessing to have found a best friend like Beth.  She is an all around good person and I cannot say enough great things about her and her family!

I was thrilled when she asked me to do her family’s portrait session in honor of Landry, their sweet baby girl.  I know Beth(like me) is always behind the camera so I loved getting to capture some really beautiful moments between her and Landry.  I think we probably spent more time talking than actually taking photos, but we managed to get some great shots!

I just want to thank you all for inviting me into your home to document such a special time in your lives.  I am so happy that I am able to give you all something that you will cherish for years to come.  I hope you enjoy your photos!  Beth, I will miss you at the JStar conference, but can’t wait to share with you everything I learned!! 🙂  PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGELove this family!
