Austin and I grew up taking gymnastics together and we have kept in touch throughout the years with facebook and she was actually Kaleigh’s coach for the couple of years that Kaleigh took gymnastics. She would always joke that when she finally got married, she was going to hire me for her wedding day(she and Jeff have been together for as long as Jay and I have been married)! Well, that day did come and I was so excited when I got the news and her email shortly after! She is beautiful inside and out and I am so, so happy for her and Jeff and this new chapter in their lives. They were married on a beautiful Saturday afternoon surrounded by many family and friends.

Jeff and Austin chose the St. Margaret’s school because they both grew up spending time with their families in the Northern Neck and visit often in the summer. Austin’s visualization for her wedding day was a mix of boho and nautical theme with soft colors and pops of gold. She found over 200 rustic buoys in the attic of her grandmother’s river house and incorporated these into the wedding decor. She also found a collection of large vintage jars which she wrapped with nautical rope and filled with river rocks and oyster shells that she collected from both of their river houses. Even the table runners were hand painted. It was very much a DIY wedding and I loved all of their special details. For their guest book, guests signed messages on river rocks.

There were so many details that went into the wedding that not only were beautiful, but also had special meaning behind them. I am so honored to have been a part of Austin and Jeff’s wedding and am so happy for them both! Enjoy some of my favorites!
