Chris and Aisha have been together for almost two years now. They met at a bowling alley where Aisha used to work and it was love at first sight…for Chris. 🙂 After seeing her, Chris made an effort to come every Monday with his church group. And because Aisha enjoyed their company, she would always give them the bowling lane closest to her. After months of hanging out and repeatedly telling Chris that she had no interest in him, she finally decided to give him a chance. To this day, Chris brags about the merits of perseverance. Fast forward to when they were vacationing in Key Largo, Florida. At the end of the week, they had planned on dressing up and going out to Pierre’s Restaurant for dinner. They decided to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings by going down to the dock and taking photos. As the sun was setting, Chris got down on one knee and asked Aisha to be his wife. And here we are today! 🙂 Chris and Aisha love being together and some of their favorite pastimes are their Bible studies, watching movies, and Sunday drives through the country. Chris loves how caring Aisha is and her humor….Aisha adores Chris’ personality. She says, “He is so kind to everyone he meets and it’s so hard to make him upset. When I’ve had a really bad day, I can always count on him to make me smile. He’s so loving and he makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.” They are looking forward to calling each other husband and wife! And more importantly, that their marriage will touch the hearts of everyone they come in contact with and exemplify Christ’s love for all.
I loved working with the two of them during their engagement session last week! I cant help but smile when I am around them because I can just see how much they love each other. At one point during the engagement session, I told them it was like watching a fairy tale come true….they are just perfect for each other! I cannot wait to share their wedding day with them, but for now, I hope you enjoy the photos from the engagement session!
