Manic Monday!

Good morning!  Can you believe that this is the last week of February??  Time is flying by SO fast and wedding season is quickly approaching.  I have really been enjoying having free weekends.  We had a pretty full weekend, filled with lots of fun activities for the kids.  Friday, Kaleigh and I met up with our friends Carly and Leah at the Jefferson for afternoon tea.  The girls got dressed up and enjoyed feeling pampered and “rich” as they referred to it.  🙂  I love “the Richmond” tea, it is cinnamon flavored and tastes delicious!  I probably had at least 5 cups and we had 3 tiers of sandwiches and treats.  It was a fun time…until we got the bill! :/  See, when I called to make the reservations, and asked for a total, the man replied, “Its going to be 31.25″…or something like that.  Naturally, I assumed that when I asked for the TOTAL that he was giving me the total for everyone.  Well, when the bill came and it was for $126, my jaw about dropped to the floor!  I was NOT ready for that.  We’ve been hit pretty hard with some unexpected expenses and with tax season coming up(we have to pay taxes with my business so thats no fun at all)  I was pretty bummed.  It was still fun, but my wallet is mad at me.  Anyway, Leah came over after for a  sleepover.  They have so much fun together…maybe too much fun because they always end up staying up past midnight.  This time was no exception and not only that, but they decided to wake up at 7:30 haha!  I left for a photo shoot around 8:30 and Kaleigh headed off to World Thinking Day for girl scouts shortly after.  Best part of the day….meeting up at Mexico for lunch!  Jay took Carter to a bouncy house after(Kaleigh doesnt like going if you can believe it!) so we just headed home for the rest of the evening.  Sunday, Kaleigh and I went to the Landmark Theater  with a friend to see “Mary Poppins.”  It was such a great performance and Kaleigh really loved it and she is very proud of herself for learning to say “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”  haha.  My dad took Carter to the circus so it was nice to know that he got to do something fun.  He had a great time and was so excited to go.  He said his favorite part was getting the snow cone….of course…;)  That was pretty much what our weekend looked like and this week is is somewhat low key until the weekend.

Last thing,I didnt realize this until yesterday, but I totally forgot to post the Project 52 on the blog on Friday!  So be sure to check out this Friday’s post for weeks 8 and 9 🙂
