Manic Monday | Business Photography Goals

Holy Moly!  We are only two weeks into October and things are CRAZY!  If you are a photographer, you certainly know what I am talking about!  This is, by far, the busiest month for me(and I am sure most photographers) because it is such a wonderful time of year to take photos and get married! 🙂  That being said, I have not been good about blogging these last couple of weeks, so I am playing catch up! 🙂 Quick recap….our family has been busy with the start of the school year and all of the fun things that go along with it(ie.homework)…..juuuuust kiddddding.  Haha!  While I love the structure that the school year provides, I do miss the lazy days of summer where there are no commitments to sports and other things.  The kids have both adjusted really well and Kaleigh’s first school DANCE is this Friday!  I cant believe it!  I am so proud of her and how she has stepped up and taken on so much responsibility with her schoolwork, keeping her room clean, and other things.  We do deal with drama almost every day, but I guess thats just the age.  Carter is doing amazing and LOVES school!  He says math is his favorite subject, even more so than recess!  What?!!  I think I have a genius haha!  All in all, the school year is going pretty well!

I have lots of good things coming to the blog soon, so stay tuned!  For now, here is a sneak peek from Steven and Christi’s wedding!  Congrats to the happy couple!

-begin getting Halloween decorations from attic

-attend a freezer meal workshop

-Carter’s first soccer game on Saturday! canceled due to rain

-Kaleigh’s babysitting safety course on Sunday

-girl scout safety meeting on Thursday evening

-attend friends housewarming get together

-celebrate Kameron’s 16th birthday

-appointment to fix our oven!

-Carter’s first soccer game!  (the last two have been cancelled due to rain!0

-pick up flooring for attic!

-send information for home school sessions

-shoot engagement session on Friday rescheduled due to rain

-send out client packages

-home school sessions on Monday!

-family session on Thursday

-wedding with James

-family session on Sunday

-edit sessions from this week

-record expenses and mileage

-send out client packages

-shoot two family sessions

-deliver canvases to Christi for wedding

-print timeline and shoot Steven and Christi’s wedding

-shoot James’ headshots

-send contract for April 2016 wedding

-3 family sessions on Sunday(whew!)

-client meeting

-secure second shoot for October 24th wedding!

-finish decorating for Halloween

-catch up on laundry and cleaning…ugh!  This seems impossible right now! :/
