It’s hard to believe that I have a seven year old daughter in SECOND grade!!  I have no idea where the time has gone and my heart hurts a little more with each passing year….I don’t want my baby to grow up!  I LOVE watching her grow and become independent, but at the same time, it makes me sad for those same reasons.  Kaleigh brings so much joy to my life and I can’t imagine a world without her.  I feel so blessed to have such an intelligent, beautiful, and compassionate girl, who each day, finds happiness in life.  She has such a big heart and even though she can be stubborn at times, she is always there to lend a helping hand, encourage others, and give love.

I am so proud to be called her mom and I love her more and more with each passing day.  She is better than anything I could ever imagine.  When she came into the world, she brought meaning to my life.

Here she is…..my girl.

Michael Graw - magnificent put up, very informative. I wonder why the other specialists of this sector don’t realize this. You should proceed your writing. I am sure, you have a huge readers’ base already!ReplyCancel

I talked to Nancy about a week before the rehearsal dinner for Kate and Matt’s wedding.  It seemed as if everything was set, but they decided last minute that wanted a photographer for the dinner.  Nancy had been given my name by a friend and thankfully I was available to capture this special event for them!  This was such a fun crowd and I enjoyed being able to give them these memories.  PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE

I just want to say how much I LOVED working with this couple!  They were so fun and were genuinely excited about their session! Sabrina and Jens are already married, but they did not get to experience having an engagement session before their wedding.  I was thrilled to be able to photograph them at this point in their lives and I think we all had a great time together.  Below are just a few favorites from their session….there were so many great photos and these are the hand picked ones from the happy couple! I met Jessica and Neel almost a year ago when I did their dear friends’, Erin and Mike’s engagement session and wedding. When Jessica called and asked if I was available for her wedding date, I was thrilled!  I not only love photographing one of the most important days in a person’s life, I also love when friends of my past brides choose me to be their photographer!  🙂

I was so excited when Jessica told me she wanted to have her engagement session in Goochland!  It is absolutely one of my FAVORITE places to photograph!!  I did an engagement session there last fall, and it is still one of my favorite engagement sessions to date!  Anyone who has been to the country knows how peaceful and beautiful it is and our family goes there quite frequently….our last visit was on the 4th of July!  But what made this session SO special was that…..minutes after arriving, it started POURING!  I’m not talking just rain….I mean downpour!!  I know what you’re thinking…….how could that be special?!  Well, I will get to that in just a moment! 🙂  So, I honestly thought that we were going to have to cancel the shoot, but Jessica, Neel, and I calmly waited for the storm to pass.  We got the chance to talk and get to know each other better and I really enjoyed this time with them.  Before we knew it, the sun was shining!  Ok, so here’s the best part!…..Neel was walking around enjoying the beautiful scenery, when he spotted a GORGEOUS rainbow!  And not just any rainbow….a DOUBLE rainbow!(ok, this reminds me of that song on youtube lol!)  It was AMAZING!  I was just blown away at the beauty of our world and that the three of us were getting to witness God’s beauty together.  That alone made the session worth more than anything!

I had such a fun time with Jessica and Neel and I am thrilled to be a part of their big day in October!
