I love taking pictures of Kaleigh…..I’ve been doing it since the day she was born!  I contribute much of why I became a photographer to her.  From the moment she was born, my goal was to capture every single moment I could of her.  During her first year, I probably took more pictures of her than most people would in a lifetime!  I was a little obsessed!  I have since then become less “snap happy” but I do enjoy bringing out my camera from time to time and just shooting for fun….and it just so happens that what I love shooting for fun is my children!  🙂

Kaleigh is a pro when it comes to taking pictures….she should be though…she’s had seven years of practice with me!  And when she is in the mood to take pictures, boy, she can really put on that model face!  I have had so many people express that she should go into modeling simply because of how well she does in front of the camera…and I may be biased, but I think she is a beautiful little girl. 😉

I took these near the end of summer, and sadly, I am just now getting around to posting them!  We were at my grandma’s house in White Stone and I asked if she wanted to come out with me for a few minutes to snap some photos.  She was eager and we had a really fun time!

So here’s the last taste of summer for everyone and a tribute to My Girl!  Love you Kaleigh Marie!

I have to say, Krystle and Robert are some of the nicest people I have met!!  They were SO easy going, carefree, and HAPPY!!  Each time I looked at them they had big smiles on their faces…I could tell they were truly in love.  And their wedding was nothing less than gorgeous!  I loved her colors and everything coordinating so well together.  I really enjoyed working with this couple on their special day, along with Beth Harris from Beth Harris Photography.

Laura and Jordan are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met!  They are so easy going and just seem perfect for one another.  I was excited that their ceremony and reception would be held at The Mill at Fine Creek!  It is such a beautiful venue and every person who works there couldn’t be any more helpful!  I also had the pleasure of working with Beth, from Beth Harris Photography.  We have become such great friends and I really enjoy working together with her…..we make a great team!  So without further adieu, I give you Laura and Jordan’s wedding!! I remember looking up to my aunt as a child and wanting to be just like her.  We are seven years apart, so when I was little I just thought she was the coolest person in the world!  She probably doesn’t know this, but I used to sneak into her room all the time and try on her shoes and clothes….and I pretty much read every journal she ever kept!  I loved spending time with her and always felt special when she took me places.  She even inspired me to start drawing.  I remember her taking me to a craft store and buying my first sketch pad(which I still have to this day.)  Sadly, there are just a handful of drawings in there!

In recent years, we have gotten really close and I always look forward to her visiting.  She has lived in Florida for a while now and I don’t get to see her as often as I would like, so when she comes to town, we always make it a point to see each other.  She is one of the closest women to me in my life and I cherish each moment I spend with her.

I was so happy when we were finally able to go out and take pictures together.  We have been talking about doing this for two years, but it just has never happened until now!  She is such a beautiful person, inside and out, and I was honored to give her this gift.  So here she is…..my aunt. 🙂

We spent the next two days hanging out at the beach.  Despite the fact that Carter couldn’t get in the water, he had just as good of a time!  He didn’t complain once and loved playing in the sand and kicking the ball around.  Kaleigh on the other hand, has really taken a liking to the water since last year and pretty much stayed in the ocean the entire time.  She loved jumping, chasing, and running from the waves.  And she really loved when Jay took her out to ride the waves on the boogie board.  All in all, it was a memorable vacation for us and I look forward to going back next year! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEI just love these two….. PIN IMAGESo sweet! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEThese images below were taken on our final day at the beach.  We just hung out in the room for a while and the lighting in the master bedroom is gorgeous!  I couldn’t resist snapping a few shots of them on the white sheets!  They are precious!
