It is so hard to believe that these little girls are TWO years old!!  Where did the time go?!  It seems like yesterday, I was at Ashleigh and Bradley’s house doing their newborn pictures.  And here we are two years later!!  Thankfully, I have also grown…as a photographer…. wheeww!

I have enjoyed watching these sweethearts grow up in the last two years, and BOY what a difference a year makes!  I could not believe that they were walking around and talking in complete sentences!  They were just so cute. 🙂

I look forward to this family’s session each year because the love between each of them is just so special to watch.  This family has been with me from the very beginning of my journey and I cannot thank them enough for choosing me to be their family photographer each year.  I am so grateful to have friends that come back year after year to create lasting memories for their families.  It is SUCH an honor!  Ashleigh and Bradley, thank you both for such a fun session.  Your girls are absolutely precious and I can’t imagine how much they will grow within this next year.  I look forward to our next session together!

When I met Jenn and Luke for the first time, I admit, I was a little nervous.  I am shy, so it takes a lot for me to really come out of my shell.  But they are just the sweetest couple and I quickly felt at ease with them!  I loved hearing about how they met…Luke’s version of the story was quite funny and hearing of how the wedding planning was coming along.  They both seemed so excited about the everything…especially Luke with his organizational skills. 😉

I felt that our personalities really went well together, so I was ecstatic when they chose me to be their wedding photographer next September!  We did their engagement session in Goochland, one of my FAVORITE places of all time.  This time of year there is so gorgeous and it couldn’t have been more fitting for Jenn and Luke!  It was a beautiful day and as the sun gave way to the evening, that golden light was amazing!

When Jessica told me she wanted to do a cake smash for Grayson and Olivia’s first birthday, I was SO excited!!  I knew these pictures were going to be priceless….these two were so cute to watch.  Grayson got into the cake a little more than Olivia, but I guess that’s just a boy’s appetite for ya 😉

Jessica and Jeremy, I cannot express to you how grateful I am to have been your family’s photographer this past year.  I have loved getting to know both of you and watching your sweet children grow.  It means so much to me that you have trusted me to capture Grayson and Olivia’s first year and you all as a family.  I feel privileged to call you my friends.  Thank you so much for a wonderful year and I look forward to the many more to come! 🙂

When I wrote this post last night, I was so excited for Halloween!

I LOVE Halloween!  Its such a fun time of year for the kiddos….they look forward to dressing up each year and going trick-or-treating.  I love to watch them get into character when the put their costumes on….their imaginations are so big and seeing them in action is always the cutest thing!

Unfortunately, this morning Kaleigh woke up not feeling well and ended up throwing up. 🙁  She was so excited to wear her favorite Halloween shirt, give her book report at school on this special day, and go trick-or-treating this evening.  I hope that she feels better throughout the day and is able to go out tonight!

Kaleigh and Carter had a lot of fun with this session….it was literally a 5 minute session, aside from the few that I took of Kaleigh a couple of weeks ago.

I hope everyone has a happy and safe Halloween!  PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE
