I had such a wonderful time with this family, despite being rained out and having to reschedule :/ It was tough with the weather and then poor Maggie got sick, so there was a lot of rescheduling, but we were finally able to work in a day and I was so glad!  Katie couldn’t have chose a more perfect spot for their session.  They love the water and it was just beautiful when we went(both times haha!)

And let me just tell you, Maggie is a PRO in front of the camera!  Every time I lifted my camera up to start snapping, she immediately gave me her biggest smile.  It was the cutest thing ever!  She is either the happiest baby alive or is destined to be in front of the camera!

Here are my favorites from our outdoor adventure!

It was so good seeing this family last weekend.  I have not seen the boys since they were just tiny little babies, and my how they have grown!!  I did their newborn session 6 months ago(aren’t they the cutest?!) and couldn’t wait to see the family for this go round!  Well, I am happy to say that the boys are smiling, so close to sitting up, and as cute as ever!  I had such a great time!!  Can’t wait to see them in another 6 months for their ONE YEAR photos!! raspberry ketones fat loss - Really good post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I’ve truly enjoyed surfing around your weblog posts. Right after all I will likely be subscribing to your feed and I hope you write once again quite soon!ReplyCancel

Our annual camping trip and apple picking at Carter Mountain are the two things I look forward to most in the fall.  I get so excited when the time finally comes when our family can slip away from reality and head to a peaceful place, away from all the distractions of daily life.  It is so freeing to go to Goochland and just hang out as a family.  We had a great time riding around in the golf cart, visiting the cemetery(sounds creepy, but it was a good learning experience!), raking leaves and jumping in them, fishing, and roasting hotdogs and smores by the fire.  I wish our lives weren’t so hectic….I would love to take more than just one trip a year for camping.

Nevertheless, this weekend was filled with laughter, love, and APPLES!  If you’re wondering….I haven’t gotten around to editing our camping trip because I was so excited about these…..hopefully one of these days I can get around to it and have a part II to this entry!

But for now, here was our trip to Carter Mountain….or as Carter says, “Batman Mountain.”  Either way it is his mountain and he truly believes that he is Batman at this stage in his life haha! PIN IMAGEThis is one of my favorite images to date of Kaleigh….she is just so beautiful!(I know, I know…I am biased!) PIN IMAGECarter had a hard time holding his basket of apples haha! PIN IMAGEExcuse the extremely dirty hands of my children….what can I say?!…. PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGECarter cannot seem to sit still or not goof off for a single second these days….ahhhh….boys! 😉 PIN IMAGEThank you to my dear friend, Carly, who took the images of Kaleigh and myself.  I don’t have nearly as many as I should, so these few I hold close to my heart. <3 PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEKaleigh, Leah, and Carter.  Kaleigh and Leah have been friends since they were babies! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGECarter wanted nothing to do with photos that day….he was too busy playing with about 20 other boys and girls.  I just let him be…he had the time of his life!  And Kaleigh, my little model, is always ready for photo time! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEWhat a wonderfully, perfect day in the mountains!!!  If you’ve never been, it is gorgeous and worth the drive!!

My sister and I had been talking for months about doing her and her boyfriend’s pictures and the time finally has come!  I was excited to work with Danielle and Lewis, although things didn’t quite work out the way I planned.  I had my two children with me the day of the shoot and it was….well, an experience to say the least!

All in all, it was a fun shoot, despite my crazy kids!  Danielle, hope you love your photos!  Love you! 🙂

We went to the Ashland Berry Farm for the second half of Grayson and Olivia’s 1 year session!  These two are so cute  and so anxious to get moving.  I just know Jessica and Jeremy are going to be on the go when those two start walking!  It was fun to see them standing by themselves and looking so proud when doing it!  It is hard to believe that in just a very short period of time, they will be walking and talking!  What a fun year this has been, I am sad to see it come to an end, but look forward to all the great things ahead!  Thank you guys for everything!  PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEWhat a cutie!
