This week’s theme is color. 🙂  This was taken at Massanutten while we were putt putting 🙂  Loved the bright red color of the berries on the bare tree bark.  Happy Friday everyone! PIN IMAGE

Well, this post is a little late, but I did not have access to a computer at all yesterday so here we are!   What a weekend!  This weather we have been having lately has been a bit crazy!  The kids love the snow(and Kaleigh loves getting out of school!)…I love the snow too…from the INSIDE lol!  I would love to have a cup of coffee and a good book and curl up on the couch all day.  With kids…thats not really an option!  But I do enjoy watching them have a good time!  🙂  The kids from the neighborhood came over and they all enjoyed snowball fights, making snow angels, and sledding down our giant hill.

As far as getting goals accomplished, I didnt get many haha, but I did have  a GREAT time with our family and Jay’s parents, Ginny and Rick.  We went to Great Wolf Lodge Sunday and Monday and this place is PERFECT for kids!  I didnt realize just how much was there!  I assumed it was a hotel with a water park….they have SO much more there!  They have a game room, a mini bowling center, a motion movie center, souvenir shop, girl’s spa where you can get a manicure and pedicure, ice cream shop, pizza place, and a special interactive game for older kids.  It is such a great little getaway and with it being only 45 minutes away, it was just perfect!  We spent most of the time in the water park and Kaleigh really enjoyed the Magi Quest interactive game they have there.  She liked reading the clues and finding each thing for the quests.  Carter could have stayed at the water park for two days straight if we had let him lol.  He tried the surf board and did awesome and he loved going down all the slides!  This place was made for kids!   All in all, it was a fun time…even if I hate the water. :/

Below are the photos from our weekend at Massanutten and the goals for this week are at the bottom of this post!  Hope everyone has a great week! 🙂

“Daily routine”

I love that Carter loves to take care of himself.  Every night before bedtime he has to brush his teeth, rinse with mouthwash, wash his hands and “raze.”  It is a nightly ritual and I love watching him go through his own little process he has created.  🙂 PIN IMAGE

I LOVE walking into my clients homes and seeing their pictures displayed!  It isnt often that I get to see the pictures that are printed actually displayed on the walls and it makes SUCH a difference!  It truly is art!  I snapped these when I was at the McLaughlin’s home last week for their girls 1 year session.  I was so excited to see all the beautiful photos in their home!  🙂  I really love this first image below…photo collages are awesome!  There are a few frames that have to be filled(sorry for posting this Lisa!) but how adorable is this?!?

There are SO many ways to display your photos…I really love large frames with thick matting, photo collages, and canvases!  I have all of these in my home(with many unfilled frames as well haha!)  It helps give the area a visual focus and brings life to your walls. 🙂  If you ever need inspiration, be sure to check out Pinterest…there are TONS of great ideas for how to display your photos!

If any of you have your photos from our session/your wedding displayed and would like to share, please feel free to snap some photos and send to me at photography@ashleyglasco.com  I would LOVE to see them! 🙂  Hmmm….this could quite possibly turn into a “win a free ??  contest”  What do you think?!?!

A couple of weekends ago it was REALLY foggy!  I always love the way fog looks but have never taken the opportunity to photograph it!  I had to pick up Kaleigh from her friends house after a sleepover so I took the opportunity on my way(with NO kids in the car!….this never happens lol!) to snap some photos.  I hope you enjoy them! 🙂

I thought the last photo looked better in color than black and white…you can see the fog better! 🙂
