I cant believe that sweet Avery is already a year old! It seems like I was just photographing Chris and Becky’s engagement session and wedding and now they have a 1 year old! The time has just flown by and I am so blessed to have been apart of such important chapters in their lives. I have helped document their marriage, pregnancy, and all the fun milestones in Avery’s life thus far. What an HONOR! I cant say enough great things about this family. They are so sweet and I know how much they adore Avery. I have loved watching them grow together as a family and witnessing how quickly Avery has grown from a tiny baby to an almost walking and talking “big” girl!
Becky writes, “Becoming parents has been such a joy. Ok, it’s also physically & emotionally exhausting, but it’s totally worth it. It’s amazing to see this tiny human you created grow into a little person. Avery hasn’t started walking yet, but she’s a climbing fool. She has no fear – stairs, tables, chairs, slides – you name it, she’s trying to climb it. We’re really going to have our hands full once she’s walking too! And Avery’s an observant little one. It’s fascinating to watch her study something and learn how it works. Her brain is always churning away. She’s also turned into quite the ham lately. She loves finding something that makes you laugh and doing the same trick over & over. She just cracks herself up and wants to make you laugh too. Every day with her is an adventure that we wouldn’t change for the world. Becoming parents is the best things we’ve ever done. Just watching Chris & Avery together melts my heart. I’d say raising her has been the hardest thing we’ve ever tackled, but it’s also been the most rewarding. And I love having these photos of our family so we can look back on how our lives have progressed. Were we really just having engagement photos taken three years ago?! I can’t wait to see how Avery grows & changes over the next year!”
Our one year session was quite an experience. Poor Avery had been sick and, being the adventurous girl she is, she took a spill and bumped her head right before our session! She was SUCH a trooper throughout the session even though we knew she was not feeling herself. We managed to get some smiles and I am just glad she is back to her normal self! 🙂 Below are some favorites from our session! Happy birthday sweet girl!
