When I worked with Jessica and Neel for the first time during their engagement session, I knew this was going to be a fun couple!  They were just SO happy together….always smiling and laughing!  It was the sweetest thing…to witness the love between them.  I can say the same for their wedding day.  It was an honor to be a part of such a joyous occasion and witnessing all the love between Jessica and Neel and among family and close friends.

When I arrived, Jessica didn’t seem even a bit nervous!  She was excited that her dream was finally becoming a reality!  I mean, what girl doesn’t dream of being married?!

The Craddock Terry hotel in Lynchburg is one of the many places that Jessica and Neel have traveled together, and this was really the place where they fell in love.  Not surprisingly, this city is the place where they chose to be married.

Below are just a few images of Jessica and Neel’s perfect day……

PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEJessica, you are a stunning bride! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEThis little guy was so cute! PIN IMAGEThe chapel they got married in was so cute!  And the view of the city outside of the church was AMAZING! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEMarried!! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEJessica had a gorgeous bouquet and the little jewels inside have special significance…what a beautiful touch! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEGosh, you guys are so beautiful together! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEAmazing! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGESo, the hotel that they chose for the reception was originally an old shoe factory.  It is the cutest hotel I have ever seen!  Each hotel door had a different shoe plaque and the lobby is decorated with old shoes!  It was so neat! PIN IMAGEJessica and Neel’s theme for their wedding was “traveling” and their details was awesome!!!  Each guest was greeted with a tag and a city on the back.  It was their job to find what table they were to be seated at and at each table there was a picture of the city Jessica and Neel had visited and on the back, a description of their adventure….I loved it! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEThe guests wrote their well wishes on post cards to Jessica and Neel….. PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGELook at the cake topper!!  Suitcases! 🙂 PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEJessica and Neel, THANK YOU all so much for choosing me to be your photographer.  It was a blessing to have been a part of your special day and I hope these images bring a smile to your face each time you look at them!  I wish you all the best with everything you do in life and may it bring you all the joy and happiness in the world!  Much love!!

This is my second year with this sweet family and I enjoy every moment I spend with them!  They are just so lively and playful and I have so much fun with them.  The kids are always smiling and laughing which makes me happy because thats what kids are supposed to do!  They definitely have energy and I know they keep their Momma and Daddy busy! 🙂

Last year, we went with a more rustic setting for their session so this year, we thought we’d switch it up and do pictures downtown!  I loved all the neat places we found and I can always count on Bethany to bring some really cute props along!

I told Bethany that when I was looking through the images I just had a big smile on my face and even laughed out loud at some, just remembering how funny the kids are!

I feel extremely honored to be the Sherman Family photographer!  I love looking forward to our yearly sessions and being apart of watching their family grow!

Thank you guys SO much for such a fun session!  Your family is beautiful and I love getting to know you all better and seeing your children grow up!  I look forward to our next family session!!

I look forward to going to the fair EVERY year!!!  I get so excited when the time comes for cotton candy, games, rides, and fun!  I know my kids love it too…especially all the junk food!  I love for our family to take portraits at least once a year, so this year I thought, “How fun would it be to have our pictures taken at the fair?!”  Leah Kelso from Hello Fabulous Photography was our photographer this year(thanks again Leah!!)  She did such a great job and I was so pleased with the pictures!!  You can check them out here!  And although my kids weren’t the most cooperative, I think we still got some great shots and we went on to spend a great day at the fair(NINE hours to be exact!)

Below are some of my favorites from the day….looking at them makes me excited for next year’s fair!!  I hope you enjoy the photos! 🙂 PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEGoing on the ferris wheel! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEI love this image below on the left!!  As soon as Carter got on the pony, he exclaimed(with a very country accent!), “Yeeee Hawwww!!”  It was hilarious! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEIf you have never eaten homemade ice cream you are really missing out!!  It is DELICIOUS!!! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEI think Carter could have stayed with the machines all day if we let him!  And Kaleigh had a pretty good time too! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGENext was the corn box….they had a good time in there too…..ahhhh the life of a child….. PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEKaleigh is finally old enough to ride on the big rides…..that scared me a little! PIN IMAGEMaybe next year Carter! 🙂 PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEHe was in heaven!! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGECarter loved this fishing game….he did it twice.  He didn’t care about the prize at all, he just wanted to keep on fishin’… PIN IMAGEThese are my favorites from the fair….gosh I love this girl! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEAnd I love this boy!…. PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEWe ran into Jay’s cousin Mitchel and his mom Cheryl while we were there, so I snapped a few of them.  Notice the Chicken on a Stick that Mitchel is holding lol! PIN IMAGEI think we should have thought a little more before saying yes to these horns!!  They played them NONSTOP…pretty much from the time they got them until they passed out in the car.  NOT a fun car ride home! PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEI just love the fair at night…so colorful. PIN IMAGE PIN IMAGEOur last ride on the ferris wheel until next year.  The kids had fun waving to Gigi and Rick from high above! PIN IMAGEWhat a day!!!  Can’t wait until next year!
