Matt and Kristen had the most perfect outdoor spring wedding…the weather cooperated(although it rained earlier that day!) and it was a sweet, simple, country inspired wedding at Tuckahoe Plantation. Matt and Kristen are both so down to earth and that’s one of the many reasons that this wedding was so laid back and intimate! After photographing their engagement session, I knew that their wedding day would be awesome. They understand each other so well, they love their family, and they love celebrating life. Their wedding day was classic, with a flair of country that really showed their down-to-earth personalities.

Matt and Kristen celebrated their marriage with close friends and family and it was exactly how they envisioned their day to be. Their vowel exchange was especially important to each of them because they personally wrote them and waited to share them on the wedding day. Included, were promises about Kristen’s hunger and Matt’s love for Virginia Tech Football, showing just how prominent both of these things have been in their relationship.I feel so blessed to have my job. Each and every one of my clients remind me how lucky I am to be doing what I love! Thank you to Matt and Kristen and all of their friends and family who shared this special day with them!
