Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m so excited that you stopped by!

My name is Ashley and I fell in love with photography after I had my first child in 2004. My passion for photography grew as I watched my daughter, Kaleigh grow up and had my son, Carter in 2008. I wanted to capture every moment and document important milestones in their lives. During the fall of 2009, I bought my first DSLR camera, decided to take a leap of faith, and here I am!

I never would have been inspired to follow my dreams if it weren’t for my family, my husband, and God. I have the most supportive and encouraging family a girl could ask for and feel blessed to be doing what I love!

I am.......a mom. A wife. An observer. A perfectionist. A coffee lover. Crafty. Obsessed with shoes. Hungry to learn new things. A lover of art. Passionate about my house plants. addicted to pinterest. OCD at times. An artist. A memory keeper.

I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to do what I love and to share my passion with others. I love being able to capture life's celebrated moments and to tell a story through my photos. I adore working with people, hearing their stories, and capturing the connections they have together. More importantly, I love creating relationships with my clients. I want my clients to not only walk away with a wonderful experience, but to have gained a friend along the way.

I am an on-location, natural light photographer and specialize in custom portrait and wedding photography. My work has been described as unique, classic, and clean. With each session, I strive to understand my clients, their personalities, and their story.

I am located in Richmond, Virginia and available for travel worldwide.
