Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!! What a fun holiday! I just love all the sweet surprises, candies, special dinners, and everything that accompanies Valentine’s Day! This morning, Kaleigh and Carter woke up to a heart trail leading to their breakfast complete with cinnamon rolls with pink icing and bacon on cute heart paper plates and milk in red champagne(plastic! haha) glasses. They each were greeted with a single carnation and Valentine’s Day card and they have more surprises waiting for them later this afternoon. They weren’t the only ones to get a special treat! I got to eat a REAL breakfast! Eggs, bacon, toast, and coffee, served with a beautiful red rose…what a great start to the day. 🙂 A couple of weeks ago, I did a Valentine’s Day mini shoot with my kids for our cards this year….below were my favorite images made into cards! I hope everyone has a wonderful, love filled Valentine’s Day!
I felt like a little kid again when I saw the first flurries of the year today! It was short lived, but so beautiful!! The kids went out and threw snowballs, caught snowflakes on their tongues and had a blast! Jingles had a pretty good time too…he liked eating it. 🙂 I couldn’t let the snow pass without snapping a few photos! Hope everyone enjoyed the wintry weather today.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the giveaway! The contest if officially over!!

We got to Massanutten every year and it is such a fun time! This year, our big trip was to Disney so we weren’t able to spend the full week in Massanuttten, but we made full use of the time we did have! In our short 3 day vacation, we managed to squeeze in Luray Caverns, putt-putt, hiking, snow tubing, the waterpark, and the arcade! It was a busy and fun mini vacation! I didn’t take too many pictures, partly because I wanted to give myself a break and partly because we were just so busy DOING stuff! One of more recent and most favorite traditions is to go on a hike in the mountains….the kids LOVE it and its fun to just get out in nature and not have to worry about anything! The photos below are from our hiking adventure……we went for about an hour and then hit up the water park for the rest of the day! Ok spring, I’m ready for you to be here now. 🙂
